Government agencies and corporations have similar information need. Google and pick a government agency or corporation. Make sure no other student has picked the corporation you picked. So check the Discussion Board in Canvas before you pick your corporation.
So the sooner you post, the better. Identify and briefly discuss specific examples of information systems typically used by a department in the government agency or corporation you picked. Example (and do not use this example in your paper): law enforcement agency such as a state or local police department. Which of these systems are used to “run” the business? Which are used to fulfill the agency’s mission?
